CoderOasis is Built by Our Awesome Architects

CoderOasis is free to read because some people paid for it to be.

The Architects listed on this page are the members at the $10/month tier — the people who made a real financial commitment to keeping this site running, improving, and independent. Their names stay on this page for as long as they're members.

This isn't a donor wall or a marketing gimmick. It's an honest accounting of who kept the lights on.

What Architects get

Being an Architect is the closest thing CoderOasis has to a founding membership. The perks are concrete:

Behind the Oasis — a monthly post written for Architects only. Real numbers: how many members CoderOasis has, what the infrastructure costs, what we published last month and how it performed, what's coming next, and what we got wrong. No sanitized PR version of things. The unfiltered read on where CoderOasis stands and where it's going.

Topic request priority — you submit an idea, it goes to the top of the content backlog. You get a personal response, not a form reply.

Direct line to the team — a private channel where you can talk to the people making CoderOasis. Not a support ticket system. An actual conversation.

Permanent credits page listing — your name, right here, for as long as you're a member.

Monthly newsletter feature — your name in a dedicated Architect section in every issue of The Oasis Report.

Everything in the Developer tier — members-only posts, the Dev Digest, private Discord channel, the Toolbox, content polls, and early access to new articles.

A personal thank-you from Traven when you join. Not a template. An actual note.

The Architects

This page is updated when new Architects join and when the team sends the monthly newsletter. If you've just signed up and don't see your name yet, you'll be on the next update.

A note from Traven

I've been running CoderOasis since 2011. For most of that time, it ran entirely on stubbornness and off-hours work. The membership program is the first time the site has had a real financial foundation.

Every Architect on this page made a deliberate decision to invest in independent technical writing. That matters in a landscape where most developer content is either VC-backed, ad-saturated, or AI-generated filler. CoderOasis is none of those things, and it stays that way because of people like this.

Thank you.
